Ledge and NetSuite native close features
Use everything NetSuite gives you. NetSuite shows you what is left in the close. Ledge prepares it, inside NetSuite, and posts on your approval.

Where each one fits
NetSuite and Ledge do different jobs in the same close.
Which fits your close
Autonomous Close is a direction, not a plan for next month
Oracle has described Autonomous Close as a network of agents operating together inside one system, with Exception Management at its heart, and customers choosing which key decisions to approve. We do not claim a date for it, and you do not have to wait for it. Ledge prepares your close now, on top of whatever NetSuite ships.
How they work together
NetSuite tells you what is left. Ledge prepares it.
Common questions
Intelligent Close Manager shows which tasks are late and links them to transactions. When you open a task, the work still starts. Ledge does that work: it builds the working paper, ties the reconciliation and drafts the entry. You can use both.
No. Ledge is a NetSuite partner with a SuiteApp listed on SuiteApp.com. It runs on top of NetSuite, syncs both ways and posts journal entries formatted for NetSuite on your approval.
Oracle has described it as its vision for the close. We do not claim a date and do not know Oracle's roadmap. Ledge works with your close today, and nothing we build depends on waiting for it.
They overlap on reconciliation. Account Reconciliation is part of NetSuite EPM, licensed separately. Ledge reconciles at transaction level against live bank feeds, and also builds the working paper and drafts the entry for unmatched items. If you license EPM, compare them on one of your accounts.
Ledge gives you a live view of every close task across entities and teams. If you rely on Intelligent Close Manager, check how its scope matches your subsidiary structure.
